As a rule of thumb: Use common sense!
Please read the rules carefully.
Breaking any of our rules results in a server and/or discord ban.
Whether that ban will be permanent or temporarily will be decided by our admin council.
Don’t try to abuse loopholes in our rules.
Even if a specific instance that we haven’t thought off yet isn’t spelled out in here, you can still get punished for it. Our admin council reserves the right to adjust the rules and have the final say.
This rule applies to public social media including public discord servers like the TheCommunityZ discord server but does not apply to streams and videos.
Don’t share any future info or live info that’s less than 1h old.
Don’t share any location.
Don’t reveal bases.
Don’t use any 3rd party Voice Over IP Program (like Discord, Teamspeak, Steamvoice, Skype…).
Speaking in game instead makes the world buzz, feel more real and immersive.
You’re taking away possible awesome interactions from yourself and from others by breaking it, don’t be that kind of a dick.
You will never know who might be hiding behind the next corner, overhearing your words that can start an awesome storyline for everyone involved.
Don’t use the text chat to communicate ingame. Speak via the ingame voice.
If a special incident happens where your mic is not working and you use the chat to tell somebody that’s the case, it would be an exception we don’t ban for.
Don’t Combat log i.e. logging off within 10 minutes of a hostile action done by you or against you.
(That also includes physical and verbal threats, attacks on bases, as well as logging off inside a base without permission).
Don’t Ban Evade (e.g. make a new account or use the account of a friend).
Send an unban appeal if you’re permanently banned, or if you think you’re unrightfully banned, or wait until your ban period runs out.
Don’t despawn items/cars/containers for the main reason that the owner can not have them anymore.
Don’t destroy or dismantle more than needed to get access to a base/car/loot/person.
Dismantling for nails, planks etc is not allowed.
Don’t be in a stream and play on the same server as the streamer.
If you watched a streamer playing on The CommunityZ wait 15 minutes before logging into The CommunityZ Server yourself.
Don’t exploit the use of alt accounts (i.e. using multiple accounts in the same fight, interchanging loot between multiple of your accounts etc.).
You may only play them as different, unique characters.
Wait 1,5 hours before logging in with a different account.
Hacking, Scripting, Glitching, Duping, Exploiting etc will lead to a ban from our server and, in some cases, a report to Steam.
If you accidentally ‘glitch’ something or somewhere, don’t use that to your advantage.
